St-Julien de Lampon is situated in the center of a region of innumerable sightseeing possibilities!
Discover the remnants of History, venture back to the sources of Pre-history, admire the still intact Architecture of houses and monuments and follow the traces of the past... Within a radius of 50 km, you can satisfy all your curiosities.  
First of all herewith a selection of places of interest not to be missed:  Directly in the village, the church dating from 14/ 15 centuries, was later rebuilt in the form of a latin cross. It is dedicated to Saint Julien, who was beheahed in Brioude (Auvergne) 303. His head was found 60 years later well preserved, in the arms of his fellow-suffered : saint Ferréol...
16th century frescoes decorate the vaults of the chorus and the chapels to the North and to the South. Every art lover will be surprised by the high quality of these paintings.
The present bell-tower was probably built from the remnants of the original building. Machicolations remind of its use as a defensive tower.
During a walk around St-Julien de Lampon, you will meet the ruins of Castle Tourette (privately owned). Within a distance of 5 km to East you can visit the small Chapel of Mareuil and its cemetary... 
After 3 km on the left bank Castle Fénelon overhangs the village Sainte-Mondane. It is the birth place of Fénelon, the famous author of Télémaque.

Within 3 km, the Jardins de Cadiot at Carlux are full of charm and poetry. Don't miss to visit the garden during the roses season.
In the wood, an exhibition of African stone sculptures of Zimbabwee gives a strange atmosphere.
Gardens open from May 1st until October 30th. Further but easily accessible: At a distance of 14 km, on the way to Gourdon (Lot) are the wonderful Caves of Cougnac. You can see in this cave, authentic prehistoric drawings and thousand crystallizations.
Open from Easter to All Saints Day.
At 15 km, the Jardins d'Eyrignac in the vicinity of Salignac are very buzy formal gardens. 
One of the most famous place of interest await you in Sarlat (15 km). All the center of the town is listed Historic buildings of France and you will discover 16th century houses with stones roofs... It's realy difficult to reach Sarlat on Saturdays : the market is so famous! 
From Padirac to Lascaux II near Montignac, passing through Les Eyzies, there are all famous places for the many remnants of the Cro-Magnon period. Follow with the dry stone huts of Breuil, the Bastide Domme with its famous city walls and gates, the village of La Roque Gageac where you can have a river crossing on a "gabarre"...  
Do you feel a meddle age humour ? Go and visit the 1000 Castels of Perigord: Beynac, Castelnaud, Commarque, Puymartin, Losse and Milandes... Is it necessary to present you Rocamadour (45 km) in the Lot area ?
It is the 2nd most visited place in France. Built into the rock... By the way, don't miss the authentic Moulin Of Cougnaguet.  
Also in the Lot area, you can visit these interesting places : Gouffre de Padirac, caves Lacave, the 7 towers town of Martel, the small village of the "Riviere Esperance" Carennac... And closer, Souillac with the basilic facing the Museum of Automatons, the top of the old center of Gourdon... Really, St-Julien de Lampon is the best place to go travelling in the region, perhaps discovering hundreds of other sightseeings... and coming back to take a rest in peaceful landscapes.
